< The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 91 to Facility Operating License No. OPR-6, issued to Consumers Power Company (the licensee), which revised the Technical 9

Specifications (TSs) for operation of the Big Rock Point Plant (the f acility), located in Charlevoix County, Michigan. The amendment is effective I as of the date of issuance.

This amendment revises the TSs to reflect the features and terminology used with new out-of-core power range instrumentation.

The application for the amendment complies with the standards and l

l requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings, as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 4

10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.

Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment and Opportunity for Hearing in connection with this action was published in the FEDER/L REGISTER j on April 5, 1988 (53 FR 11150). No request for a hearing or petition for leave to intervene was filed following this notice.
