Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1 (TMI-1)

Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Technical Specification Change Request No. 144 Supplement I On May 28, 1985, GPU Nuclear submitted Tech. Spec. Change Request No.144, letter 5211-85-2089. Enclosed is a revised page for Figure 6-2 which should replace Figure 6-2 from the original request.

Figure 6-2 is the TMI-1 Plant Organizational Chart which we were revising to include an additional level of management within the Plant Engineering Department. This revision was made by adding a box labeled " Plant Engineering Manager (s) THI-1." This box indicated that the Manager (s) report directly to the Plant Engineering Director, and showed the Lead Engineers from the applicable disciplines reporting to the Managers.

During discussions between various GPU Nuclear and NRC personnel, it was decided that the number of Manager (s) within the Plant Engineering Department will not exceed six. This has been indicated on the chart with a note "**Not to exceed 6." The attached page with this correction should be supplemented for the original Figure 6-2 in all copies of Tech. Spec. Change Request I
