- October 1996 The reactor operated continuously in October with the following exceptions: four shutdowns for scheduled maintenance and refueling.

10/21/96 Refueled - removed core 96-45, loaded core 96 46. Repaired primary pump 501B discharge pressure gauge and seal water line. Replaced slow speed drive motor on intermediate range monitor chart.

10/28/96 Refueled removed core 96-46, loaded core 96-47. Replaced calibration feedback module for intermediate range monitor channel #3.
