i No. NPF-29 for your Grand Gulf facility. At the conclusion of the inspection,
, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the
j enclosed inspection report,

i Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within these !
! areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
j representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of activities [

in progress. :

- The inspection findings indicate that certain activities violated NRC require- !
l ments. The violations, references to pertinent requirements, and elements to be f
j included in your response are presented in the enclosed Notice of Violation. ;
In addition to the need for corrective action regarding specific matters

! identified in the enclosed hotice, we are concerned about the effectivenss of
t the implementation of your radiation protection program as demonstrated by this ,
! situation. Consequently, your response should describe those particular actions [
l taken or planned to improve the effectiveness of your program. ;

- Your attention is invited to an unresolved item identified in the inspection (
j report. This matter will be pursued during future inspections. [
