Dear Dr. Jackson:

i The. purpose of this letter is to provide you with results of our limited analysis for the Seabrook site that you requested some -

time ago. We developed the enclosed estimate of the seismic .

hazard for the'Scabrook site in the same manner that we developed the seismic hazard for the sites involved in the Systematic

{

Evaluation Program (SEP). We have used the model recommen,ded by NRC and described in Jackson (1980) to specify the hazard for the sites-located in New England, t Figure 1 shows the results (synthesis) compared to R.G. 1.60

} scaled to 0.25g (245.4cm/S2) for 5% damping. The data used to construct this figure are given in Table 1.
