An environmental radiological ::nitoring progri: shall be conducted to verify that radicactive releasea are within allevable limits and that station operations have no detrimental effect on the environment.
Specificatiens
- a. Environmental samples shall te collected and analyzed according to Table 3 at the locations presented in Figures 3, h, 5, 6, and 7
_
- b. Reports shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements of Section 5.6 (plant Reporting Requirements).
- c. During the seascns that animals producing milk for hu=an consumptien are en pasture, sa=ples of fresh llk vill be obtained monthly frc=
these animals at locations presented in Table 3 and analyzed for their radiciodine content , calculated as 10 dine-131. Analysis will be carried out within eight days (cne I-131 half-life) of sampling.
Suitable analytical procedures vill be used to determine the radioicdine ceneentration to a sensitivity of 0 5 picoeurie per liter of milk at the time of sa=pling. For activity levels at or above 0 5 picoeurie per liter, the overall error (one sigma confidence level) of the analysis vill be within +255. Results
