ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE, UNITS 1 AND 2- REGULATORY AUDIT PLAN FOR NOVEMBER 17-19, 2014, AUDIT TO SUPPORT REVIEW OF SECURITY PLAN REVISIONS 14, 15, 16, AND 17 (TAC NOS. MF3598 AND MF3599)

Dear Sir or Madam:

By letter dated October 4, 2012, as supplemented by letter dated February 4, 2013 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Nos. ML12286A336 and ML13038A015, respectively), Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy, the licensee) submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Security Plan Revision 14 for Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO), Units 1 and 2. Subsequently, by letters dated June 12, 2013, October 23, 2013, and April30, 2014, the licensee submitted Revisions 15, 16, and 17, respectively, of the ANO Security Plan.

To support its closeout of NRC staff reviews of the above-named security plan revisions, the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident and Response, Reactor Security Licensing Branch will conduct an audit at ANO from November 17-19, 2014. The purpose of this audit is to examine and evaluate supporting technical evaluations and information on selected topics for the licensing basis associated to the physical protection systems described in Entergy's Security Plans (Physical Security Plan (PSP), Training and Qualification Plan (T&QP), and Safeguards Contingency Plan (SCP)) for ANO. This audit will provide information necessary to complete the staff's review of the docketed information submitted by the licensee for Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 50.54(p) review for Security Plan Revisions 14, 15, 16, and 17.

The NRC staff's audit plan is provided in the Enclosure.

The Enclosure to this letter contains security-related information. When separated from the Enclosure, this letter is DECONTROLLED.
