violation concerning
the use of Scotch 33 tape in safety-related
applications
without adequate engineering
review for environmental
qualification.
At the time of our response, it was projected that corrective
actions would be completed by January 15, 1985.In our January 15, 1985 letter, we informed you that via Field Change Request (FCR-E-2712
Rev.0)the Harris Plant Engineering
Section had identified
the Containment
and Main Steam Tunnel for which Scotch 33 tape, previously
used in safety-related
cable applications, must be removed and that efforts to remove the tape from these applications
had been completed.
We also stated that we were in the verification
process to check completeness
of the work.This letter is to inform you that we have completed our verification
check.On this basis, we consider the item to be resolved.Thank you for your consideration
