Dear Mr. Johnson:
On May 27, 1986, we verbally notified your Mr. T. F. Westerman of a deficiency ,
involving dimensional tolerances for the shims used in conjunction with C-Type i clamps on cable trays. This is an interim report of a potentially reportable !
item under the provision of 10CFR50.55(e).
This issue is related to CP-85-19, Conduit Support Spans, and CP-85-34, Conduit Support Design, and these issues are being evaluated under CPRT Program Item VIII. All electrical raceway items (tray, . conduit, supports) have been consolidated under the scope of Ebasco Services. This program plan is scheduled for completion in September,1986. We are continuing our evaluation '
and anticipate submitting our next report by October 21, 1986.
