Dear Sir or Madam:

By letter dated March 15, 2002 (W3F1-2002-0024), Waterford 3 provided a response to NRC correspondence dated February 25, 2002, Issuance of Order for Interim Safeguards and Security Compensatory Measures.

On April 16, 2002, Entergy personnel and members of your staff held a conference call to discuss clarification of our responses to certain portions of the Order.

As a result of the telephone discussions with the NRC Staff, Waterford 3 is clarifying its March 15, 2002 response.

Pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR50.4, the attachment to this letter contains Waterford's clarifying response to Sections B.3.d and B.5.e of the Order. The attachment to this response contains Safeguards Information as defined in 10CFR73.21.

Entergy therefore requests that this attachment be withheld from public disclosure.

If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact me.

There are no new commitments contained in this letter.
