The total dose measured by Self-indicating Dosimeter (SID) was 259.844 Rem. SID measurements are used for tracking dose assigned by job functions. In part, Technical Specification 5.6.1 specifies that in the aggregate, at least 80% of the total whole body dose received from external sources should be assigned to specific major work functions. The total dose was accounted via radiation work permits assigned to specific major work functions.

SUBJECT:

Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc.

Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station Docket No.: 50-293 License No.: DPR-35 Personnel and Man-Rem by Work and Job Function LETTER NUMBER:

2.04.038 The enclosed table, "Number of Personnel and Man-Rem by Work and Job Function," for calendar year 2003 is submitted in accordance with Technical Specification 5.6.1, and as recommended by Regulatory Guide 1.16. The tabulation supplements the reporting requirement of 10 CFR 20.2206(b).

There are no commitments contained in this letter.

Please feel free to contact Douglas Ellis, (508) 830-8160, if there are any questions regarding this subject.
