A point identification in the Unit 3 ERDS database was revised from RT7817 to R7817QCV. This point identification change and associated name descriptor change are being made to reflect an upgrade to the computer database for the Radiation Monitoring System Data Acquisition System. The analog radiation monitor is now routed to the ERDS database by a new computer system, and this new computer system has different point identification descriptor files (database numbering files).
A point identification in the Unit 3 ERDS database was revised from RT7817 to R7817QCV. This point identification change and associated name descriptor change are being made to reflect an upgrade to the computer database for the Radiation Monitoring System Data Acquisition System. The analog radiation monitor is now routed to the ERDS database by a new computer system, and this new computer system has different point identification descriptor files (database numbering files).
The ERDS database for this new descriptor was revised so the computer system will continue to pass quarterly NRC ERDS testing and maintain its communication ability to link with the NRC Operations Center in an emergency situation when it is required to operate.
