As required by 10 CFR 50.54(w)(3), the purpose of this letter is to advise the NRC that the following Nuclear Property and Decontamination Liability insurance will be in effect for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station for the 1999 - 2000 reporting period:

All policies providing coverage mentioned above comply with 10 CFR 50.54(w),
including provisions for the insurance proceeds to be prioritized for dedicated reactor 3
stabilization / safety and then for decontamination of the site.
