Gentlemen:
On April 24, 1986, we notified you by our letter logged TXX-4774 of a deficiency involving the electrical penetration assemblies (EPA's) supplied by Bunker Rame which we deemed reportable under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
l This is a follow-up interim report submitted to status corrective action implemented to date. Our last interim report, logged TXX-6357, was submitted March 27, 1987.
As noted in previous reports, the EPA modules supplied by Bunker Ramo are being replaced by modules supplied by Conax.
In our letter logged TXX-6262, dated February 27, 1987, concerning Enforcement Action (EA) 86-09, we stated I
that future schedule changes for corrective actions relating to the replacement of these modules would be updated via SDAR-CP-86-10.
Rework is in progress and is currently scheduled for completion by July 30, 1987 for Unit 1 and November 30, 1987 for Unit 2.
We expect to submit our next report by December 18, 1987.
