On November 26, 1985, in ouvreport logged TXX-4633, we not if ied you of a deficiency regarding the, adequacy of restraints (provided for the flux mapping l

system) under seismic loads which we deemed reportable under the provisions of 10CTR50.55(e).

This item w s subsequently identified by our letter, logged TXX-6435, dated May 13, 1987, as an item for which a final report had been issued but "the originally scheduled completion date for the implementation of j

corrective actins has elapsed but t'ie implementation of those actions is still in progress."

1his report is submitted to status the implementation of corrective actichs.

I in our report TXX-4633, we advit ed the actual modifications for the flux i

l Mapping System (fMS) would be completed no later than March 31, 1986.

Unit 1 l

FMS modifications (for Equipment Tag No. TBX-ICELFM-01) are complete.

I Currently, Unit 2 modifications are scheduled for completion no later than May l

Supporting documentation will be available at the CPSES site for your inspectors review Mter May 15, 1998.
