Dear Mr. Denton:

• In our letter to you dated October 8, 1982, South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&G) provided a suggested change to Figure 3.2-3 of the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Technical Specifications. After we requested that change,-we decided to amend the Figure again for clarification purposes. As Attachment 1 please find a revised Figur- 3.2-3 to replace that suggested in our October 8, 1982 letter. This new change

' does not affect the justification for the initial change.

Additionally, SCE&G requests that Table 3.8-1.txa revised (see Attachment 2) to add a containment penetration conductor overcurrent' protective device for the steam cleaning machine permanent power source. This change does not impact the safety evaluation as discussed in the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) and is considered administrative in nature.
