VALVE M0-8812 TEST PARAMETERS l

f Enclosed is the staff's Safety Evaluation addressing your request to change the test parameters used in leak testing valve M0-8812.

Based on the more accurate measurements that will be obtained by using water as a test medium, the staff concludes that changing the test medium for valve M0-8812 from gas to water is acceptable.

l Based'on Portland General Electric's analysis and the staff's review of the '

analysis, we conclude that 33.6 psi differential pressure across the valve is "

.a suitably conservative test pressure for valve M0-8812 and is therefore t acceptable.
