Speis (Director, Div. of Safety Review and Oversight) dated January 30, 1987, a screening criteria has been developed by Virginia Power for their in-house use. We are currently taking the same action as NRC in searching records of maintenance for events relating to erosion corrosion problems at the three nuclear plants at Taiwan. Dear Dr. Vollmer:
Thank you for your letter of February 27 to Professor Yu-Hao Lee, concerning the information on pipe rupture event of Surry Nuclear Power Plant. We are currently taking the same action as NRC in searching records of maintenance for events relating to erosion corrosion problems at the three nuclear plants at Taiwan.
