The Region I Field Office, NRC Office of Investigations (OI), initiated an investigation (Case No. 1-2015-026) on July 23, 2015, to determine whether a licensed reactor operator at Hope Creek Generating Station deliberately failed to follow a procedure. Based upon documentary and testimonial evidence developed during the OI investigation, the NRC did not substantiate that the reactor operator deliberately failed to follow a procedure.
