By {{letter dated|date=January 19, 2024|text=letter dated January 19, 2024}} (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML24019A010), Tennessee Valley Authority submitted an application for subsequent license renewal of Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-33, DPR-52, and DPR-68 for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant (BFN), Units 1, 2, and 3, respectively, to the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). We are currently performing an acceptance review for docketing in accordance with the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 2.101(a)(2) (10 CFR 2.101(a)(2)) and will notify you of the results of our review. Should the NRC staff determine that the application is acceptable for docketing, the NRC staff will issue a schedule for the review, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.102(a).
For your information, we have enclosed a copy of the notice relating to your application that is being sent to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Hammock as the project manager for the safety review, and Jessica Umana as the project manager for the environmental review of your subsequent license renewal application. Please forward copies of all subsequent license renewal correspondence to Jessica Hammock and Jessica Umana. Kimberly Green is responsible for the project management of all issues other than subsequent license renewal for BFN.February 3, 2024 If you have any questions on this matter, please contact Jessica Hammock at Jessica.Hammock@nrc.gov or Jessica Umana at Jessica.Umana@nrc.gov.
