From November 12,1998, th ough Janualy 2,1999, a routine inspection was conducted at your l!j

San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3, reactor facility. The enclosed report  ;; i

presents the scope and results of that inspection.

- During the 7-week period covered by this inspection, your conduct of activities at the ii

San Onofre facility was generally characterized by safety-conscious operation, sound

engineering and maintenance practices, and careful radiological work controls.
