Dear Sir or Madam,

This letter is to inform the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of changes that have been made to the Emergency Response Data System (EROS) at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) Unit 3. As required by 10CFR50 Appendix E, Section VI.3.a, any hardware and software changes that affect the transmitted data points identified in the EROS Data Point Library must be submitted to the NRC within 30 days after the changes are completed. Accordingly, the revised page to the EROS Data Point Library is provided in the Enclosure to this letter.

The affected data point identifier is the Unit 3 Volume Control Tank (T-077) level indication. The data point identifier changed from "L226" to "VCTLVL" on December 20, 2010.

This letter and the enclosure contain no new commitments.
