Our letter dated February 23, 1989, provided our response to your Programmed Enhancements identified in Generic Letter 88-17, Loss of Decay Heat Removal. The schedule requested by the NRC, as applicable to the Beaver Valley Units,-is to complete programmed enhancements             consisting   of         hardware       installation                   and/or modification         by   the end of the second refueling outage following receipt of this Generic Letter.
Our {{letter dated|date=February 23, 1989|text=letter dated February 23, 1989}}, provided our response to your Programmed Enhancements identified in Generic Letter 88-17, Loss of Decay Heat Removal.
In response to programmed enhancement No. 1, Instrumentation, we indicated the target date for completing hardware modifications for RCS level indication as being the eighth refueling outage for Unit No.       1     and the second refueling outage for Unit No. 2.
The schedule requested by the NRC, as applicable to the Beaver Valley Units,-is to complete programmed enhancements consisting of hardware installation and/or modification by the end of the second refueling outage following receipt of this Generic Letter.
However, we included expected dates for these outages which were incorrect.           The dates provided were for the seventh and first refueling for Unit No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.

The correct           dates for the eighth and second refueling outages are as follows:
