RES The meeting began with an overview of Part 60. An interesting point made in                                                                                  .
this presentation was the statement of the possibility of placing EPA stan-                                                                                  I dards for the total amount of material released over 1000 years directly into NRC regulations on HLW. The next presentation made discussed Contaminant Transport Models. During the presentation a list of the available transpcrt models were distributed to the attendees; a copy of this infomation is                                                                                        l enclosed. The attendees also received a discussion on other material that is                                                                                  ;
available through the NRC on mined cavity disposal (copy of list enclosed).                                                                                  l The final presentation during the meeting consisted of slidas of facilities in                                                                                I France which are being used as mined cavity disposal sites.
NYDEC made rehests for some of the documents discussed during the presen-tations. These documents will be obtained from Mr. Martin and transmitted to Ms. YoungSerg.                                                      ,

RES The meeting began with an overview of Part 60. An interesting point made in .

this presentation was the statement of the possibility of placing EPA stan- I dards for the total amount of material released over 1000 years directly into NRC regulations on HLW. The next presentation made discussed Contaminant Transport Models. During the presentation a list of the available transpcrt models were distributed to the attendees; a copy of this infomation is l enclosed. The attendees also received a discussion on other material that is  ;

available through the NRC on mined cavity disposal (copy of list enclosed). l The final presentation during the meeting consisted of slidas of facilities in I France which are being used as mined cavity disposal sites.

NYDEC made rehests for some of the documents discussed during the presen-tations. These documents will be obtained from Mr. Martin and transmitted to Ms. YoungSerg. ,
