I Enclosed for your information is MOREG/CR4938 and MUREG/CR4370 as discussed in our meeting on July 6,1967. I would like to remind you of the Mf55 invitation to eret with you with regards to information that is available on mined cavities. As we discussed in the July 6, 1987 meeting, at the present MRC's Division of Lou 4evel Waste Management and Decommsissioning is not pursuing specific requirements on criteria for deeper land disposal methods such as aimed cavities for low-level waste. However, there is a considerable amovat of information that is available on deeper land disposal methods as a result of work done for the high level wasta disposal program. The waste management staff would be able to identify this material and discuss it with you at a autually
- agreeable time.
