This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Sidney Powell of your staff and Mr. Scott Stewart of NRC staff on February 10, 2004, concerning an Annual Assessment Meeting (Category One public meeting) requested by us which is scheduled for April 13, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. (EST). The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of your Crystal River Nuclear Plant. During the meeting, we recognize that you may have information which you want to present to us or any members of the public in attendance. Accordingly, if you so desire, after our presentation you will be afforded an opportunity to respond to any information contained in the Annual Assessment Letter and to discuss any new or existing programs that are designed to maintain or improve your current performance. The meeting will be held in Room 150 at the Crystal River Nuclear Operations Training Facility at 8200 W. Venable Street, Crystal River, Florida. The meeting will be an open meeting in accordance with NRCs Policy Statement for Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings, May 28, 2002 (Federal Register Volume 67, Number 102, Pages 36920-36924).
