The Applicants in this proceeding have today withdrawn their application for a et1struction permit for Montague Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2. The reason for this action is described in the enclosed letter to Harold R. Denton.

In ligh_ of the withdrawal of their application, the Appli-l cants hereby move the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board to terminate this proceeding. Since construction at the site was l never authorized, there is no need for any site restoration or rehabilitation.
