Dear Sir:

Enclosed are three (3) originals and forty (40) copies of revised proposed pages to the Crystal River Unit 3 Technical Specifications. These revised pages correct a simplifying assumption made during Babcock & Wilcox re-analysis of Cycle 3, the results of which were transmitted to you in R.M. Bright's letter of April 30, 1980. The original Cycle 3 Reload Report (BAW-1607) was based on a thermal power level of 2544 n7t and included reactor coolant pump power monitors. These assumptions allcwed the utili-zation of a flux / flow ratio of 1.070. A revised analysis were based on a ratio 1.04 (1.044 rounded off). The reduction and operating flexibility resulting from this round off is unnecessary and undesirable.

It is, therefore, requested that Technical Specification Change Request No. 61 be modified to include the attached revised pages.
