Description:

IR 1284054 had previously identified that calculation 3C8-0282-001 required update to strengthen inputs and assumptions. Actions generated from that IR tracked funding to update the calculation and have been closed out. An action to track the actual calculation revision was not created. Revision of this calculation is now part of the HELB effort and it is desired to have a tracking item in CAP for the update. This IR will generate a new action for tracking the update to the calculation.

This is a common By/Bw calculation.

Immediate actions taken:

Reviewed previous IRs 1284054, 789344, 653093, and 620080 and associated actions.

Recommended Actions:

Create an action for A8852NESDM to track revision of calculation 3C8-0282-001. Recommended due date is 08/16/2013 What activities, processes, or procedures were involved?

Review of documentation supporting HELB RAI response.

Why did the condition happen?

CAP actions to obtain funding were completed and new actions were not generated. The calculation update is being tracked outside of the CAP process.

What are the consequences?

No consequences since the calculation update is being worked on as part of the HELB project.

This subject is scheduled for discussion in TIM (Technical Issues Meeting) the week of 3-2-15.
