April 1997 l

t The fourteenth refueling outage continued through the month of April.

The following major safety related maintenance was performed during the month:

1. 18 month maintenance outage was performed on the 1B Diesel Generator. This included replacing the tube bundles for the jacket water and lube oil heat exchangers.

The following maintenance was associated with outage activities:

~

1. The reactor was refueled.
2. Performed pressure pulse and sludge lance cleaning of secondary side of the steam generators. Test and inspection activities continued on the primary side of the steam generators.
3. Performed a reactor vessel inservice inspection.

4. Replaced 38 of 48 Containment Cooler cooling coils.
5. Replaced the IC Reactor Coolant Pump stator.
6. Modifications to remove the Boron Injection Tank and Spray Additive Tank j

were completed.
