This is in response to your letter of November 20, 1985, to Mr. Dircks which requests the NRC staff to reconsider its position, expressed in a {{letter dated|date=March 22, 1985|text=March 22, 1985 letter}} to Consumers Power Company, which holds open certain of the allegations made by E. Earl Kent regarding the Midland Power Station. The staff indicated that the allegations would be subject to follow-up inspections if and when construction at Midland should resume.
