OPERATOR LICENSE EXAMINATION REPORT OL-87-03 During the week of June 1,1987, NRC administered one Reactor Operator license and five Senior Reactor Operator requalification retake examinations at the Fort Calhoun Station (FCS). The results of this site visit have been discussed with members' of your staff. All of the examinees successfully completed their examinations. As a result, NRC has issued or renewed the appropriate licenses.

The requalification retake examinees, who were removed from license duties as 3

a result of prior.requalification examination failure, may be returned to license duties after completing any outstanding facility requirements.

These results do not affect the current NRC evaluation of the FCS Requalif-ication Program as unsatisfactory. Therefore, operating licenses at FCS will l

continue to be renewed only upon successful completion of an NRC examination, j

at least until the requalification program is reevaluated in January,1988.
