On March 17, 2022, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a closed meeting with representatives of Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA, the licensee) and its fuel vendor, Framatome, to discuss recently identified errors that have a potential impact on the license amendment request (LAR) to transition to ATRIUM 11' fuel for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant (Browns Ferry), Units 1, 2, and 3.
The meeting notice and agenda, dated March 7, 2022, are available in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession Nos. ML22066B314.
Framatome did not provide its presentation slides to the NRC, but did share them on the screen during the meeting. A list of participants is enclosed.
