was conaucted byiMr. Conklin of this office, and othsr inembers of an NRC
tear,'on December 15-17, 1987 at the Seabrook Nuclear Power Station, .

Seabrook, New Hampshire. Discussions of our findings were presented by Mr.
Conklin to Mr. George Thomas and others of your staff at the conclusion of
the inspection.
Areas examined during this ir.spection included observation of the annual l
exercite and follow-up of findings identified during previous emergency
preparedness inspections and exercises as described in the NRC Region I
inspectiun rcport which is er, closed with this letter. Within these areas,
the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedure; and repre-
sentative records, interviews with personnel and observation of the emergency i
exercise by teap members. :
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed. It was i
determined that your emergency response ar.tions were adequate to provide i
protective measures fur the health and safety of the public. i
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in tnis matter
is appreciated. {
