From June 11 to 14, 2012, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a security inspection at your Purdue University Reactor. The inspection included a review of activities authorized for your facility. The enclosed repor t presents the results of that inspection.
 
The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to security and compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations, and compliance with the conditions of your license. The inspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no safety concerns or non-compliances with NRC requirements were identified. No response to this letter is required.
 
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 2.390 "Public inspections, exemptions and requests for withholding," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room). However, because of the security-related items contained in the enclosure, and in accordance with
 
10 CFR 2.390(d), this letter's enclosure will not be available for public inspection.

PURDUE UNIVERSITY - NRC SECURITY-RELATED INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-182/2012-202

Dear Mr. Jenkins:

From June 11 to 14, 2012, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a security inspection at your Purdue University Reactor. The inspection included a review of activities authorized for your facility. The enclosed repor t presents the results of that inspection.

The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to security and compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations, and compliance with the conditions of your license.
