Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 - Final Significance Determination of a White Finding, Notice of Violation, and, Follow-up Assessment Letter; NRC Inspection Report 05000382/2025091 dated June 5, 2025 By letter dated June 5, 2025, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) determined the performance at Waterford Steam Electric Station (Waterford 3) was within the Regulatory Response column of the NRC's Action Matrix. (Reference 1)
In the referenced letter, the NRC announced its intent to conduct a supplemental inspection using Inspection Procedure 95001, Supplemental Inspection Response to Action Matrix Column 2 (Regulatory Response) Inputs, following Waterford 3's notification of readiness. This letter serves as the notification of Waterford 3's readiness for the NRC to perform the supplemental inspection for this issue.
