Waterford 3 SES Docket No. 50-382 License No. NPF-38 Monthly Operating Report Gentlemen:

Attached is the subject report which covers the operating statistics for the month of April, 2002. This report is submitted per Section 6.9.1.6 of the Waterford 3 Technical Specifications for Facility Operating License No. NPF-38.

This report reflects an increase in the Authorized Power Level from 3390 MWt to 3441 MWt approved via Technical Specification Amendment Number 183 issued by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on March 29, 2002. Although, the NRC has authorized an increase to the Authorized Power Level, Waterford 3 did not implement the increase during this reporting period.

OF OPERATIONS WATERFORD 3 for April, 2002 Refueling Outage #11 was completed near the middle of the month. The resulting average reactor power level of 40.2% was achieved for the time-period.
