By letter dated November 1, 2022 (Reference 1), Ameren Missouri (Union Electric) provided the results ofthe most recent steam generator tube in-service inspection performed at Callaway Plant, which was performed during Callaway Plants refuel 25 outage during the spring of 2022.
During its review of the Steam Generator Tube Inspection Report, the NRC staff determined that a request for additional information (RAT) is needed to complete its review. The NRC electronically transmitted the RAI to Ameren Missouri on March 13, 2023 (Reference 2) and requested that the response be provided within 30 days ofreceipt. Specifically, the NRC requested the location, orientation (iflinear), measured size (ifavailable), and voltage response for wear indication at the B and C Steam Generator tube support plates that were greater than or equal to 20% through-wall in depth. The response to the RAT is provided in the enclosure to this letter.
