dated June 5, 2012 On March 12, 2012, the NRC staff issued the letter identified as Reference 1 above. Enclosure 5 of that letter contains specific Requested Actions and Requested Information associated with Recommendation 9.3 for Emergency Preparedness (EP) programs. ULNRC-05922 October 30, 2012 Page 2 of4 "Conditions oflicenses," paragraph (f), addressees were requested to submit written responses to the information requests contained in the NRC's letter. The NRC letter specified due dates for the written responses.

With regard to Recommendation 9.3, and in accordance with the NRC letter, Ameren Missouri submitted an alternative course of action for providing the requested information, by letter dated May 10,2012 (Reference 2). The alternative course of action included revised information, due dates, and the basis for those dates. Pursuant to the alternative course of action, Attachment 2 to this letter transmits Ameren Missouri's responses to Items/Requests 1 and 3 of Enclosure 5 to the NRC's March 12, 2012 letter. identifies a regulatory commitment associated with this response.
