Post Outage 90-Day lnservice Inspection (ISi) Summary Report In accordance with 1 O CFR 50.55a, Codes and Standards, paragraph (g), "lnservice Inspection Requirements," Exelon Generating Company (EGC), LLC is required to maintain an lnservice Inspection Program in accordance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Please find enclosed the Post-Outage (90-Day) ISi Summary Report for the Clinton Power Station, Unit 1, for examinations and repair/replacement activities performed between May 22, 2018, (i.e., end of the 18th refueling outage) and October 17, 2019 (i.e., end of the 19th refueling outage). The Post Outage Summary Report is being submitted in accordance with the requirements of ASME Section XI, Article IWA-6200, Paragraph IWA-6230. The 19th refueling outage was the second refueling outage in the third inspection period of the third inspection interval that began on July 1, 2010. This letter contains no regulatory commitments. INTRODUCTION: SECTION 1 INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE Page 1 of 2 This Summary Report covers the Inservice Inspection performed at Clinton Power Station (CPS), between May 22, 2018 and October 17, 2019. This is the second refueling outage performed during the third inspection period of the third ten ( 10)-year interval. During this Fuel Cycle, CPS experienced one (1) forced outage (C1F62), one (1) planned maintenance outage (ClM23), and one (1) refueling outage (C1R19). All examinations, tests, repairs and replacements were performed in accordance with the CPS Inservice Examination Plan which complies with ASME Section XI, 2004 Edition. The ASME Section XI examinations, tests and repairs/replacements were witnessed or verified by Authorized Nuclear Inservice Inspectors (ANIIs) M. Haydon and J. Norville of Hartford Steam Boiler of Connecticut. This summary report contains additional augmented (non-ASME Section XI) inspection results not required to be witnessed or verified by the ANII. In accordance with IW A-6220, Preparation of Abstract of Examination Required by Form NIS-1, the name and description of the components examined are listed on the NIS-1 Data Report and its attachments (Section 2). Further component information is obtainable through the reference number, or other information, for the specific item. The manufacturers' names for the components examined are also identified in Item 7 of the NIS-1 Data Report and their addresses are on file at CPS. Documentation supporting this Summary Report is referenced in the Inservice Examination Plan, implementing procedures, or record files identified in the specific sections of this report. Scope: The scope of Inservice Inspection performed during this Fuel Cycle is summarized as follows: Preservice Examinations - Preservice examinations were performed on bolting and component supports (including snubbers). Scheduled Inservice Examinations - The NIS-1 Data Report (Section 2) provides the listing of examinations completed during C1R19. Conditions noted during C1R19 and corrective measures taken are described in the NIS-1 Data Report.

Page 2 of 2 Component Supports -Ninety-two (92) component supports (other than snubbers) were scheduled for visual examination for C1R19. All were found acceptable. One hundred and forty-one (141) snubbers were scheduled for visual examination for C1Rl9. All snubbers were acceptable. Pressure Tests ASME Code Class 1 Components - A system leakage test and VT-2 inspection of ASME Code Class 1 components were successfully performed prior to plant startup. Repairs and Replacements -During ClR19 no repairs or replacements were required as a result of scheduled examinations. During C1R19, there were modifications performed. The modifications, as well as repairs and replacements which resulted from routine maintenance, are specifically detailed in Section 3 of this report. Two (2) issue reports were generated to address the following condition: - IR 4309402 was initiated to document safety related bolting (but not ASME Section III) were installed in a Class 3 piping bolted connection. - IR 4309392 was initiated to document that one (1) Class 2 nut (out of 8) installed on a Class 1 check valve 1B21F010A. Containment Inservice Inspection - In ClR19, examinations required by 1 OCFR50.55a(g) were completed in accordance with Subsections IWE and IWL of ASME Section XI Code, 2013 Edition. This is the first inspection period of the third interval, which began September 10, 2018, and scheduled to end September 09, 2028, for Containment Inservice Inspection activities. IWE: All Class MC components required to be examined were scheduled and examined in ClR19. No unacceptable indications were identified. IWL: All Class CC components were scheduled and examined in C1Rl9. No unacceptable indications were identified.

Current Interval Status: Currently CPS is in the Third Period of the Third Interval. CPS had one (1) refueling outage, CIR13 during the First Period. CPS had four (4) refueling outages, CIR14, CIR15, CIR16 and CIR17, during the Second Period. There were two (2) refueling outages, CIR18 and C1R19, during the Third Period. Cumulatively at the end of C1R19, 100% of all required examinations have been completed in accordance with IW A-2400 (Inspection Program B) for the third ten-year interval. RPV-C5(1/2) - The examination coverage for weld RPV-C5 was less than 90%. A relief request will be submitted. Note 2: NlB-W During the last refueling outage, ClRl 7 (in 2017), per the ISi Program, an ultrasonic examination was performed on Reactor Recirc Dissimilar (DM) Weld NlB-W-1 to meet the augmented program requirements of the IGSCC program. During the examination, a planar indication ( embedded discontinuity) was discovered in the weld. The planar indication is considered a subsurface indication. This indication is not connected to the ID surface. The indication is 0.80" long and has a through wall dimension of 0.45". The top of the indication is located 0.45" from the outside surface. Per the ISi Program this weld was evaluated per IWB-3514. Based on the thickness of the pipe wall ( excluding cladding) of 1.54" an aspect ratio calculation was performed. This calculation showed that this indication exceeded the allowable limits specified in Section XI, therefore, was unacceptable. This weld was examined with General Electric-Hitachi procedure GEH-UT-247, which has been demonstrated in accordance with the requirements of ASME Section XI, Appendix VIII. This item was evaluated as acceptable prior to completion of last outage, C lRl 7. As required by IWB-2420 an ultrasonic examination was performed in C1R19 refueling outage, September, 2019, and results were compared with the previous outage results. No measurable change was observed.

Note 3: Core Spray Internal piping-In accordance with BWR VIP-18 document, Ultrasonic examinations were performed on the selected welds on Core Spray piping. Indications were recorded on three (3) of these welds (BP2, CP2, and DP2). This is not an ASME Section XI item. See Attachment 2 for further discussion. Note 4: Steam Dryer (Access Hole Patch@ 325 degrees from OD) - During the C1R19 outage examinations were performed on 325 degrees Steam Dryer OD Access Hole Patch to monitor this indication identified in C1R15. No discernible changes were noted. These items were evaluated as acceptable as described in Attachment 2. The Steam Dryer is not an ASME Section XI item. Note 5: Moisture Separator Lifting Assemblies - During the C1R19 outage, In-Vessel Visual Inspections (IVVI) were performed on the Moisture Separator Lifting Assemblies. Previous outage inspections identified relevant conditions on all four locations as documented in INR C1R14-13-01 Rl. Previously noted indications on the 150 deg and 330 deg Lifting Rods had no discernible change. A new indication was noted on the Lower tack weld of the 80 deg Lifting Rod on the 70 deg side. Increased wear was noted on the 260 deg Lifting rod at the Upper Support Ring interface and on both Lower tack welds where previous indications had been noted. New wear was observed on the same Lifting Rod at the Mid Support Ring interface as well. These items were evaluated as.acceptable as described in. Note 6: Feed water Sparger End Bracket Bolt Stops - During the C1R19 outage, In-Vessel Visual Inspections were performed on the Feedwater End Bracket Bolt, Nut and Tack Welds. Per the INR, except for the for the 097° Rod, no discernable changes were noted between C1R17 and C1R19 outages. Since there were no discernible changes noted between the C1R17 and C1R19 inspections, the indications are acceptable as dispositioned by EC 619862. At the 97° Rod, new slight wear was noted on the pin. This condition was accepted, see Attachment 2 for further details.

Note 7: RPV Surveillance Specimen Lower Bracket Welded Attachments - During the C1R19 outage, In-Vessel Visual Inspections were performed on Surveillance Specimen Brackets. Per the INR no discernible changes were noted between ClR17 and C1R19 outage (003°, 177°, or 183° bracket). Since there were no discernable changes noted between C1R17 and C1R19 inspections, these indications were evaluated and accepted, see Attachment 2 for further details. Note 8: Steam Dryer Support Bracket @ 326 degrees - During the C1R19 outage examinations were performed on Steam Dryer Support Bracket@ 326

degrees to monitor wear pattern. Slight changes in wear pattern were identified in C1R15. No discernible changes were noted this time. These items were evaluated as acceptable as described in.

Note 9: 1RH07018V-WA-The examination coverage for Welded Attachment 1RH07018V-WA was less than 90%. A relief request will be submitted. Note 10: RCIC-lA (1-4) - The examination coverage for Welded Attachment RCIC-lA (1-4) was less than 90%. A relief request will be submitted.

Examinations: Core Spray Internal Piping -

6. National Board Number for Unit: N/A In accordance with the VIP-18, BWR Core Spray Internals Inspection and Evaluation Guidelines, Ultrasonic examinations were performed on the accessible areas of three (3) welds on Core Spray Internal Piping.

Condition Noted - Indications were identified on three (3) welds, BP2, CP2, and DP2. A small growth in welds BP2 and CP2 since C1R15 (2015) was identified. Crack Growth Analysis - Crack Growth analysis was performed to demonstrate the structural integrity of the internal piping for continued operation for the next 48 months. Leakage Rate Calculation - Separate leakage_ rate calculations were performed to demonstrate that the required amount of water can be transported to the core with the

existing.condition including crack growth.

STEAM DRYER OD ACCESS HOLE PATCH @ 325 Condition Noted - During the C1R19 outage examinations were performed on 325° Steam Dryer OD Access Hole Patch to monitor an indication identified in a previous outage. No discernible changes were noted. The Steam Dryer is not an ASME Section XI item. Corrective Measures - Clinton Power Station has evaluated these indications and justified continued operation. This evaluation was documented in EC 629528. SEPARATOR LIFTING ASSEMBLIES -

Condition Noted - During the C1R19 outage examinations were performed on Moisture Separator Lifting Assemblies. No discernible changes were noted on the 150° and 330° lifting rods between C1R14 and C1R19 outages. However, a new indication was noted on the lower tack weld of the 80° Lifting Rod on the 70° side. Increased wear was noted on the 260° Lifting rod at the Upper Support ring interface and on both Lower tack welds where previous indications had been noted. New wear was also noted on the same Lifting rod at the Mid Support Ring interface. Corrective Measures - Clinton Power Station has evaluated these indications and justified continued operation. This evaluation was documented in EC 629528. FEEDWATER (FW) END BRACKETS BOLT STOP-Condition Noted - During the C1R19 outage examinations were performed on the Feedwater End Bracket Bolt, Nut and Tack Welds. Except for the 097° Rod, no discernable changes were noted between C1R17 and C1R19 outages. Corrective Measures - Clinton Power Station has evaluated these indications and justified continued operation. This evaluation was documented in EC 629528. SURVEILLANCE SPECIMEN BRACKETS - Condition noted - During the C1R19 outage examinations were performed on Surveillance Specimen Brackets. No discernible changes were noted between C1R17 and C1R19 outage (003°, 177°, or 183° bracket). Corrective Measures - Clinton Power Station has evaluated these indications and justified continued operation. This evaluation was documented in EC 629528. STEAM DRYER SUPPORT BRACKET @326 - Condition Noted - During the C1R19 outage examinations were performed on 326° Steam Dryer Support Bracket. No discernible changes were noted between C1R17 and C1R19 outages. Corrective Measures - Clinton Power Station has evaluated these indications and justified continued operation. This evaluation was documented in EC 629528.
