Letter from C. Pederson (US NRC) to B. Hanson (EGC), "Final Significance Determination of a White Finding with Assessment Followup and Notice of Violation; NRC Inspection Report No. 05000461/201 5009; Clinton Power Station," dated August 11,2015 In the referenced letter, Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) received the final significance determination of a White Finding and a Notice of Violation for Clinton Power Station, Unit 1.
The referenced letter stated that, as a result of the White Finding, the NRC planned to conduct a supplemental inspection using Inspection Procedure (IP) 95001, "Inspection for One or Two White Inputs in a Strategic Performance Area." This letter also requested that the NRC be notified of EGC's readiness for this inspection.
The purpose of this letter is to inform the NRC that EGC is ready for the NRC to conduct the IP 95001 supplemental inspection. Based on discussions with the NRC staff, EGC requests the NRC commence this inspection prior to the end of the 4 th quarter of 2015.
There are no regulatory commitments contained in this submittal.
