Attached for your information is a copy of the text portion of Calculation 19-AQ-02 (Attachment 1) for calculation of voltages for LOCA block start at Clinton l
Power Station (CPS). This information is provided pursuant to Illinois Power's (IP's) commitment to provide this information as described in IP's recent letter dated February 25,1999 (IP letter U-603171) regarding ongoing modifications to resolve degraded voltage concerns at CPS.
IP's February 25 letter was provided in response to an NRC request for additional information concerning IP's application for amendment of the CPS Operating License to support the ongoing degraded voltage modifications (IP letter U-603146 dated January 20,1999). IP's application for amendment is currently undergoing NRC l
review, and the attached information is intended to support that review.
