_A_TTACHMENT i

Illinois Power (IP) Company has long been an advocate of the t integrated schedule concept which has been used during the construction and startup phases at Clinton Power Station. As a result of the '

benefits obtained from the integrated scheduling effort, IP plans to continue this program into the operational phase.

Illinois Power Company's current Integrated Milestone Schedule, and the supporting detail schedules, presently address NRC-initiated modifications as well as-IP sponsored changes. A Plant Modification Program is currently in place which requires the development of

. schedules for plant modifications. These schedules for plant modifi-cations will be integrated with schedules for other plant programs to aid in the management of overall plant operations.

Development of prioritization methodology for plant modifications is still in the early stages. Following an evaluation of alternative methodologies, a selection will be made prior to fuel load.

The subject Generic Letter also requested an estimated date for the submittal of a plant modification schedule to the NRC. Illinois Power Company's current policy is to make any schedules available to the NRC at their request. Illinois Power Company plans to continue this policy after CPS is operational.
