l On_ June 11, 1987, we verbally notified your Mr. R. F. Warnick of a deficiency involving the ambient temperature effects on MSIV actuators.

This is an interim rep (ort of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55 e). Our latest interim report was logged TXX-6725, dated September 11, 1987.

Our evaluation of this issue is continuing.

We expect to submit our next report by February 26, 1988.
