DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 CABLE TRAY SEPARATION CRITERIA SDAR: CP-87-102 (INTERIM REPORT)
Gentlemen:
On September 11, 1987, we verbally notified your Mr. H. S. Phillips of a deficiency involving a potential conflict between cable tray installations and the design requirements for cable tray separation.
Specifically, the minimum separation design criteria for vertical trays and conduits for open ladder trays may have been violated although the inspection findings were not rejected by QC personnel.
This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
Our previous report was logged TXX-6849 on July 22, 1987.
We are continuing our evaluation and anticipate submitting our next report by l
March 9, 1988.
