On July 15, 1987, we verbally notified your Mr. I. Barnes of a deficiency involving cracked insulation coatings associated with the solenoid valves on the feed water isolation valves.
This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
Our latest interim report, logged TXX-6862, was submitted on October 16, 1987.
We are continuing our evaluation of this issue and will submit our next report no later than February 16, 1988.
