By letter dated August 4, 1986, we provided our response to Enforcement Action No. 86-09. In our response to Appendix B, Item I.B.2, we stated that full compliance would be achieved by April 1, 1987. In a telephone conversation with the CPSES NRC resident inspector, Ian Barnes, on April 15, 1987, we identified this commitment as one of several which was not completed by its due date.
As part of the corrective action associated with this commitment, a complete review of vendor drawings is being performed. This review is taking longer than expected. Accordingly, the date for full compliance for Appendix B, Item I.B.2 is revised to October 30, 1987.
