DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 INSPECTION REPORT: 445/8603 AND 446/8602 REVISED COMMITMENT DATES.

W. G. Counsil Letter TXX-6089, dated January 12, 1987 Gentlemen:
In our response to the subject inspection report (reference 1), we committed to disposition Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) to resolve inspector errors (50-446/8602-V-20) and weld separation measurement methodology (50-446/8602-V-14) by February 23, 1987 and February 27, 1987, respectively. These NCRs were misplaced during the conversion to the new NCR program and resulted in these dates being missed. Mr. I. Barnes, Region IV NRC office was informed of these issues on April 15, 1987. These NCRs have been restored and are scheduled to be dispositioned by May 29, 1987; therefore, we expect to be in compliance by June 10, 1987.
Another issue discussed with Mr. Barnes, was the resolution by February 20, 1987, of a deficiency report regarding a verification package, (50-446/8602-D-11). This issue was closed on March 12, 1987.
