DOCKET NOS. 50-446 UNCONSOLIDATED CONCRETE - UNIT 2 RCB EXTERIOR WALL SDAR:
CP-86-65 (INTERIM REPORT)
Dear Mr. Johnson:
On September 15, 1986, we verbally notified your Mr. I. Barnes of a deficiency involving unconsolidated concrete in the exterior wall of CPSES Unit 2 Reactor Containment Building. Our latest interim report was logged TXX-6167, dated December 17, 1986. This is an interim report of a potentially reportable iten under the provision of 10CFR50.55(e).
Preliminary evaluations indicate that in the event this issue had remained undetected, no condition adverse to the safety of plant operations should exist. Documentation supporting our position is currently in the final stages of review and is scheduled for completion on February 13, 1987. We will submit our final report no later than March 13, 1987.
Very truly yours,
