1 TXX-6133 V December 4, 1986 Page 2 of 3 1) Pipe Stress Issue No. 7, " Snubbers Close to Equipment Nozzles" CYGNA agreed to perform an audit at SWEC of problems selected from those that CYGNA previously identified as having snubbers close to equipment nozzles. SWEC is to provide a list of stress problems and the location where the analyses are performed. Enclosure A is the list that fulfills SWEC's action on this issue. This index identifies the office responsible for the pipe stress analysis in the column heading (RESP 0FF). The associated pipe stress problem is listed in the fourth column (no column heading). The office responsibility code is abbreviated as follows: H - Houston N - New York B - Boston T - Toronto C - CHOC D - Denver If a double responsibility office designation shows, for example C/N, it means that the first office (in this case CHOC) had the original responsibility and that the problem has been transferred to New York (work completed).

2) Pipe Support Issue No. 7, " Cinched U-Bolts" SWEC is to provide the following information to CYGNA for review.

a) The SWEC calculation that supports the cinched U-bolt methodology adopted by SWEC. b) The RCLA's Cinched U-Bolt Report c) The test report from the SWEC SA-36 Relaxation Tests Enclosure B fulfills the request of 2a. Enclosure C fulfills the request of 2b. The test report identified in 2c will be provided at a later date. 3) Pipe Support Issue No. 13, " Generic Stiffness" i SWEC is to provide the following to CYGNA for review: i a) The SWEC generic stiffness report that discusses the development of the SWEC generic stiffness approach for CPSES. b) The SWEC Study Calculation that compares the results of 5 production stress calculations using the SWEC generic stiffness methodology to the results when actual stiffness were utilized in the analysis. SWEC is to provide the report that documents the ASME III NA-1140 review for piping and supports to CYGNA for review. Enclosure F fulfills this request.
